It showcases the horn but, believe me, the cello and piano are showcased as well. The title is a play on Calvin’s name. ‘Cal-’ is an abbreviation for California; ‘-vin’ is French for wine; and a ‘Smith’ is a person who make things, like a silversmith or a tunesmith.
